DUNEDIN DRAINAGE BOARD.

The ordinary fornightly meeting of the Dunodin Drainage Board was held on Thursday night; present—Messrs J. Arkle (chairman), J. Small, W. Farmiharson, J. J. Marlow, J. S. Douglas, and Dr Fulton. Balance available after paying deficiency for last year, £3454. At the present rate of expenditure all the above moneys will be exhausted in nine months from date. House Connection Account. —Authorised to borrow, £25,000; due 31/31/2 to loan account (£4588); required this year house connection and drainage connection (say, £6000), £10,588> balance, £14,412.
