EARTHQUAKE SHOCK
ALARM IN FRANCE. PARIS, March 29. A violent shock of earthquake was experienced in the Department of Correze. A fissure five yards wide was made in the hillside overlooking the village of Saint Solve, and the railway station was strewn with rocks. Furniture was overturned in the houses, and the occupants spent the night out of doors, despite the drenching rain.
