PROTECTING CHILDREN
LONDON, March 31. In the House of Commons the Employment of Children Bill was read a second time. The bill raises the age limit for street trading to 18 years for girls and 17 for boys, newspaper lads and costers' children excepted. The local authorities may specially license boys over 15 if they can obtain no other suitable work.
