A SHOOTING AFFRAY.
AUCKLAND. April 1. The Whakatane correspondent of the Auckland Herald reports a shooting affray at Taneatua on Saturday. A * farmer and a photographer are alleged to have quarrelled over a disputed account, and -when the farmer was leaving the photographers premises the latter is said to have fired at him with a revolver, the bullet entering the muscles "of the shoulder and causing a wound about two inches deep. The bullet was extracted, and the wound is not considered dangerous. The photographer jrave himself up to the police, and was brought before a justice of the peace and was remanded till Wednesday.
