Interesting experiments.on the possibility of flu spending- life for a definite period are being carried out. by Professor Pictet, at Geneva. In one oase lie froze live goldfish in ice to a temperature of 9deg Fahr. below zero, and three months later gradually melted the ioe and brought the fish back to their natural live state. He also kept a dog frozen for an hour at a temperature of HOdeg. below the freezing point without fatal results.
