The Board of Agriculture and Fisheries have received the following' telegram from the International Agricultural Institute:— It is estimated that the production of wheat will be in Prussia- 46,199, OOOowt, Spain 83,890,000 cwt, Great Britain 33.505.000 cwt. Hungary (including Croatia and Slavonia) 100,557, OOOowt. Itaily 103,882,000 cwt, Ronmania 51.164, OOOcwt,. Canada 113,449,000ewt, United States of America ,356,040,00Cbwt, British India 198,380,000 cwt, Japan 11,016, OOOowt. The total production in the above countries is expected to bo about 5.6 per cent, above last yea.r's output. The production of barley is estimated to be in Prussia 26,785.000 cwt, Spain 38,476,0000 wt. Denmark 9,871, OOOcwt, Great Britain 24.754,000 cwt, Hungary (including Croatia and Slavonia) 32.332.0000 wt, Canada 22,406, Japan 40,497,000ewt. \ The total production in the above countries is expected to be about 9 per cent, above last year's output. The production of cats is estimated to be in Prussia 96,472. OOOcwt, Belgium 12.00u.0000wt, Denmark 13,328,000 cwt, Great Britain 39,198,0000 wt, Hungary (not including- Croatia and Slavonia) 25,877, OOOowt, Italy . 12,004,000 cwt, Cjamada 115,015,0000 wt. The total production in the above countries is exnecied to be about 5.4 per cent, above last year's output. The production of" rye is estimated to be In Prussia 161,053, OOOowt, Belgium 11,541,0000 wt. ; Spain 15;763,0000wt, Hungary (including Croatia and Slavonia) 25.i10,000cwt, United States cf America 15,334,0000 wt. The. total production in. the

above countries is expected to be about 1.2 per cent, above last year's output. The areas which will probably be harvested are: Wheat —Germany 4,876,000 acres, France 15,531,000 acres; barley— Germany 3,915,000 acres, United States of America 7,035,000 acres; oats —Germany 10,688,000 acres, France 9,947,000 acres, United States of America 35,232,000 acres; rye—Germany 15,153,000 acres. The condition of maize in Bulgaria indicates a yield per acre about 20 per cent, above the average, and in cent., but about 4 per cent, below the average in the Unitedj States of America. Rice in Bulgaria is expected to yield 20 per cenc. above the average, but an average yield -is expected in the United States and Egypt.

Tb» area under cotton in Egypt is placed at 1,773,000 acres, and the condition of the crop is described as very good in Bulgaria, good in Japan l , and average in Egypt. A yield- above the average is expected ire the United States.
