CLUB FORMED AT NASEBY.
U. (Pbom Ons Oto Correspondent.) NASEBY, October An enthusiastic meeting was heldin Naseby, when it was unanimously decided to form a bowling club. Mr Hugh Wilson ■was elected (president; Mr Charles Mall secretary and treasurer, and the committee consists of Messrs J. Ryan and C. E. I>avey, the Rev. D. Rankin, and! Dr Lillie. The name of the club is " The Naseby Bowling Club." Sufficient funds are in hand to warrant the ohib in commencing immediately the formation of a green. An admirable site has been chosen, and the work will in hand at onto. Arrangements are being made to have high pressure water laid on at several places round the sate, also a border of 6m. by 2in totara round the whole green. No effort will be spared by the committee in seeding that a thoroughly up-to-date green is ready at an early date.
