The visitors won by three goals and nine tries to Yorkshire's two goals and three tries. The spell' ended with the: Australasians leading by 9 points to 8. ' In 'the second half three tries were obtained by Farnsworth and one each by Oann, Russell (Sydney, three-quarter), and Francis, Oann placing two goals. Owing to injuries sustained by Yorkshire players, the team finished with 11 men only. ANOTHER WIN FOR THE AUSTRA- ' LIANS. LONDON, October 1. The Australian footballers defeated the Broughtoh Rangers by three goals and four tries to a goal and two tries. Francis scored a try and kicked two goals. The attendance numbered 10,000.
