KOME, August 15. The Pope passed a restless night owing to the pain in his knee. His temperature rose and fell, but he was better in the morning. August 16. The Pope's condition is unchanged. The news of Cardinal Moran's death was not communicated to him, through fear of possible shock. August 19. The Pope is now convalescent.
