Two Egg Drinks for Invalids.
Those who have the feeding of sick persons may find the following recipes useful when the ordinary run of invalid foods is played out. Mix a tablespoonful of arrowroot to a paste with water. Add two tablespoonfuls of sugar, and the whites of two eggs, which have been whisked with a little water. Add boiling water to make up the quantity to_ three pints, boil xip once quickly, and stir whilst boiling l . This is the other recipe: Scald some new milk by putting it, contained in a jug, into a saucepan of boiling water; but it must not be allowed to boil. When quite oold, beat up an egg with a fork in a tumbler with some sugar; beat quite to a froth, and fill up the tumbler with scalded milk.
