At the Levin Court a. few days ago Mrs R. B. Gardener (Mayoress) appeared to answer a ehairge of liavina: ridden a bicycle on the footpath. The bench comprised the lady's husband and Mr W. C. Nation, justices, who promptly convicted and finer! the offender against the municipal by-law©.
