For each of_ the new White Star steamers Olympic and Titanic the full complement is given at 3346 persons, made up of 739 first class pasengers, 100 of whom are carried in single-berth cabins, 560 second class, some also in single-berth cabins, and 1200 third class. The officers and crew 322, while the remaining 471 are accounted for by the stewards and victualling department. On Coronation Day an ingenious spectator in the Mail, anxious to gain an elevated position, dug the earth up into a mound. Immediately everyone in the vicinity began similar excavations, with the result that each one had a miniature biU ail to himself.
