IMPERIAL PREFERENCE
LONDON, May 24.
The Imperial preference campaign, which was inaugurated at Manchester, was continued in the Albert Hall, Lord Selbcnrne presiding. Mr Joseph Chamberlain,, in a message, urged the acceptance of the dominions' offer while there was yet time. Mx Balfour predicted serious difficulties from the working of the most-favoured-national treaties unless our existing fiscal system was altered.
