The winter session class-merit lists in connection with the University of Edinburgh have just been compiled, and although, the number of New Zealand students attending the university shows a gradual decline, it will be noted that those who are working there are doing considerable credit to tnemselvce and to their Dominion by snowing Jesuits that are excellent. , . Johneon (Wellington) has come off with firstclass honours and a medal. Arthur G. Clark has passed in cnemistry for the first professional, while the following have got through the second professional f* Physiology—Robert W. Mackay (Tokomairiro). medallist, Anatomy—Royden M. Muir (Wellington), William G. Weston (Christchurch). In the third professional, William A.
