SHEEP DOG TRIALS.
CHRISTCHURCH, May 26. At the Christchurch sheep dog trials the heading, bringing back, holding in ring, and yarding class was won by R. R. Pollock's Bob, second prize going to T. H. Bennett's Fan, third to T. W. M'Kny's Togo, fourth to W. Vv. Little's Tib, and fifth to A. Jenkins's Tip. May 27. At the Christchurch sheep-dog trials on Saturday the Huntaway event was won by H. G. Waters's Bob (last year's winner), with R. W. Trotter's Quid second, F. Richardson's Roy third, J. K, Forrester's Ben fourth, and J. W. Clarke's Gael fifth.
