TRAGEDY IN WESTRALIA
PERTH, May 15. A mysterious -tragedy is reported from Woodlupine. The body of an 18-year-old girl named Compton was found in the bush near where she was employed as a domestic. She had evidently been strangled, and then carried into the bush. There were signs of a sever* struggle near where the girl Compton's body was discovex-ed. A swagman with whom she was- aeen talking, and who is suspected, has disappeared.
