The eighth annual sports meeting of the Duhback Caledonian Society was held at Dunback on Monday. The weathei was fine, and the ground was in good order, but neither the number of entries nor the attendance was so large as last year, as there r.vas a clashing of dates with the Palmerdton society. every probability of its being affiliated to the Otago Centre N.Z.A.U. in the near future. All the officials worked hard to make the meeting a success, special mention being made of the secretary, Mr A. Kennedy, jun., and file starter, Mr A. M'Grogor.
