£IOO CHALLENGE EEDUCED TO £SO! Mr DUNCAN FRASER has not received an acceptance of his £IGO Challenge to compete with any shooter in New Zealand under Now Zealand Gun Club Rules at pig-eons off 33 yards, with 2|m "C.A.C." CARTRIDGES, against Imported Cartridges. He now withdraws the above Challenge and substitutes a £SO CHALLENGE, to enable his competitor to use a jrun chambered to take 23111 cartridges. Mr will use the "C.A.C." Ordinary 2£in Smokeless Cartridge, known to the trade as "Nitro-Special," which has only been placed on the market this year. It is a low-priced smokeless cartridge designed to compete with the corresponding imported article of the same cost. Each 'shooter's cartrid'ge to contain one cz of shot only. Each shooter to fire at 100 Live Pigeons. The rise to be 33 yards. The boundary to be 40 yards. Mr Eraser's cartridges must be purchased from the trade, and any shooter who takes up this Challenge must shoot with IMPORTED CARTRIDGES purchased from the trade only. Each shooter must bring to the ground on day of competition conclusive evidence as to where his cartridges were purchased, also the receipted account for same. The M-.tch to be shot under New Zealand Gun Club Association Rules. To take place at Wellington before the end of the present year, 1910. Mr Charles Haines, Wellington, is to be the holder of the stakes. Each competitor to appoint a Referee, who will appoint a third to act in case of dispute. The latter's decision to be final. Acceptances of this Challenge must be handed to Charles Haines, Esq., Box 476, G.P.0., Wellington, by letter, arid there must be at the same time enclosed a draft for £SO on any New Zealand Bank. Acceptors of this Challenge must be members of the New Zealand Gun Club Association.
