INVERCARGILL CLUB'S ANNUAL SOCIAL.
(Convener of Social Committee, Shasta.) Victoria Hall, Tay street, Friday, June 17, 1910. 8 p.m., introductory speech by Dot (if able to be present). Concert, 8.15 p.m. to 9.45 p.m. One-act comedy, 9.45 p.m. to 10.15 p.m. Dance, 10.15 p.m. to 2 a.m. Supper, 11.45 p.m. Games provided for juveniles and nondancers. The best vocal and instrumental talent available retained for the concert. A humorous comedy, in which experienced D.L.F. actors, and actresses' will appear. _ A good floor, an orchestra, and an efficient M.C. All previous efforts of the club as regards the annual social to be eclipsed. Prices: Double tickets, 2s 6d (admitting a lady and gentleman); extra ladies, Is. The local Social Committee, presided over by our energetic president (Shasta), have been untiring in their efforts to make the above a success. Special attractions are offered to D.L.F. attending InVercargill during show week. Of course, the cheap excursions and the show will facilitate matters, and we wish to see all D.L.F. in Southland, or even further afield, and all supporters present. A special invitation is extended to members of the Dunedin Club. Country L.F. who wish tickets or who have opportunities of selling same please apply at once to Lavengho, secretary (address, 158 Liddel street, Invercargill), and tickets will be forwarded by return post. Town, members are working hard; will country members popularise the social in their own circle, for we wish to have an unprecedented .reunion this year.
