AN ELECTION PETITION
LONDON, April 29, The hearing of an election petition against Sir Christopher Furness's return has been commenced.. Witnesses allege that 700 miners at Hartlepool were supplied with meals; also 270 and 348 miners at other places on tickets furnished by Sir C. Furness's agent and sub-agent.
