LORD KITCHENER.
LONDON, April 19. Lord Kitchener denies the newspaper statements that he is unwilling, to accept the Mediterranean command. Lordl Kitchener has accepted an invitation to the annual Australian banquet to be held in London at the end of May. Sir GeoTge Reid will preside. &TTAWA, April 20. Questioned in the House of Commons why Lord Kitchener had neglected the " All Red " route, Sir Wilfrid Laurier replied that the Field-marshal had not been invited to Canada. There was, however, no official reason for his refraining from visiting the Dominion. NEW YORK, April 21. Lord Kitchener has sailed from America. The yellow press publishes under great headlines Lord Kitchener's statement to a reporter that the New York girls are the prettiest he has ever seen.
