A BROTHER'S QUARREL.
STABBING AFFRAY. ELTHAM, April 20. At the Magistrate’s Court to-day Chas. Buckland was charged with assaulting his brother Ernest, causing him actual bodily harm. The evidence showed that there , had been bad feeling between th ■ brothers, culminating in an altercation, in which the accused stabbed the other with a pocket knife, inflicting wounds on his forehead, nose, and cheek, and cutting through his coat, vest, and e hirt over the the heart, but not touching 1 Accused, who pleaded ’’Not guilty," was committed to the Supreme Court at New Plymouth for gaial. Bail was allowed.
