A private letter received in, Timaru from Mr A. C. Thompson, formerly of Tirnaru, but now farming in Queensland, indicates that he is well pleased with his prospects, and th*i he ie doing well. Since settling oyer there; otbe£. New Zeujanders have taken up land quite close to him.
