MOTOR-CAR COMBINE.
LONDON, April 19. The manufacturers deny that their combine is intended to raise the price of motor cars, and declare that they are merely an association to abolish the aristocratic tout who blackmails the trade for commission. -It is calculated that £BOO,OOO upon a turnover of £11,000,000 is ispent annually in illicit commissions. It is also intended to stop the " cutting " of prices and other unfair competition.'•
