THE WOOL SALES.

LONDON, April 19. For the forthcoming wool sales 431,500 bales have been received, whereof 270,000 bales have been forwarded direct to the manufacturers, leaving 170,000 available for sale. April 20. At the Antwerp wool sales there was a large attendance, and bidding was animated. There was an advance of five centimes all round. Three thousand two hundred and seventy-eight bales of La Plata wool were offered, and 1214 were sold. A{Jril 21. The Antwerp sales have closed.
