Ther© ;are at present three vacant charges in the Presbytery of Mataura—viz., Knapdale, Tapanui, and Waikakia. The former has vacant nearly 12 months. The hope was expressed at the Presbytery meeting on Wednesday that unanimity would prevail and early settlements of the various charges take place.
