BALLOT FOR SECTIONS.
GISBORNE, March 16. The ballot for sections on the Ngatapa Estate, 17 miles from Gisborne, took place to-day. There was lair competition, the lots attracting from five to 18 applications per lot. The ballot resulted: B'lock X.—Sections 1 and 4, W. D. Cook (Hawke's Bay); section 2, W. J. M'Kay (Hauiti) ; section 3, M. Muir (Havelock); section 5, D. S. Williams (Wanganui); section 6, John Kaiu (Makotuku); section 7, G. A. Walker (Gisborne) ; section 8, , R. S. Oorbett (Pakowhai); section 9, Charles O'Comiell (Kaiti). Block XL—Section 1, A. E. Cowley (Waipiro); section 2, Agnes Horefail (Whatatutu); section 3, Alexander Faulconer (Hawke's Bay) ; section 4, Robert Barwick (Ormond) ; section 5, Annie lies (Gisborne); section 6, Robert Burns (Meeanee, Hawke's Bay).
