CHILD BURNED TO DEATH.
DANGER. OF IJSING FLANNELETTE, CARTERTON, March 21. At an inquest pn the daughter. ar>;ed four and a-hali years, of W. J. Macaiiley, of Oarrington Settlement, the evidence showed that the child was burned to death through' the nightclothes of flannelette catching fire. The jury added a strong rider to the verdict condemning the* use of flannelette, by which many, lives ■ were sacrificed, and asking the Government to impose a, prohibitive doty in the cause of humanity. The material AViis denounced as dangerous to life and inimical to health, and therefore should be banished from every household.
