CHRISTCHURCH TOURNAMENT. CHRISTCHURCH, March 18. The following was the result cf to-day's events: — Final Handicap Cup.—Hawarden (18 goals) 19 beat Christchurch A (10 goals) 13. At the conclusion of the game Mrs Arthur E. G. Rhodes presented cups to the captains of the winning teams, Mr H. C. Russell (Hawke's Bay) receiving the Soville Cup and Mr H. T. Little (Hawarden) receiving the Handicap Cup. MEETING OF ASSOCIATION. At the general meeting of the New Zealand . Polo Association Hamilton and Te Awamutu Clubs were affiliated. Notice of motion was given by the Pareora delegate that the club intends to move at next general meeting—" That no pony which has been nominated or played by any team in either the Saville Cup or the Handicap Cup in any year can be played during that year's tournament by a member' of any other team." . It was decided to hold the next tournament at Gisborno, an amendment that it be held at Hastings not finding a seconder. The following officers were elected for the ensuing 12 months: —President, his Excellency the Governor; vice-president, Mr E. R. Murphy; committee —Messrs J. Murphy, H. A. Russell, A* Strang, A. Elworthy, and D. Hall; hon. secretary and treasurer, Mr C. J. Crawford; auditor, Mr E. Bucholz.
