NAPIER PARK RACES. First Day—Wednesday, Maech 16. Fine weather prevailed to-day for the first day of the Napier Park Racing Club's autumn meeting, and the course was in good order. The attendance was not quite up to the Cup Day average. Nine bookmakers were licensed —four at £2O 10s and five at £lO 10s,—and the sum of £5336 was put through the machine, as against £5581 for the first day last year.
