WEATHER FORECAS The following-, is the B<pr. D. C. Rates'* summary and forecast: —"A westerly, of low nrcssure passed in the south on Sunday, with strong westerly winds, followed by southcrlies. with rain in most part* a snow on the higher levels in the extreme south. Present indications are for strong southerly winds, with cool _ and showery weather"generally. Rain will probably be heavy in parts of the North Island. A westerly low pressure is due in the southon or about Thursday."
