HOSPITAL TRUSTEES.
The weekly meeting of the Hospital Trustees, held on the 2lst, was attended by Messrs S. Solomon (chairman). E. A. Tapper, J. Loudon, J. M'Donald, and Dr Batchelor. Messrs Mason and Wales, architects, wrote enclosing the final accounts in connection ■with ■ the contracts for ' the • out-patients' building and additions to the boiler-house. They also enclosed the accounts of the operation theatre. Accounts amounting to over £2OOO were passed for payment. . Dr Falconer (resident medical office*) wrote slating- that there were now in the Hospital 75 adult males. 57 adult females, and 18 children. A second child had been admitted to the dinhtheria isolation ward. The new out-patient department was opened for use on he 21st inst.
