Mr Roland M'Kenzie (41), a tuft-boat proprietor, was bathing: at Little Cooged (N.S.W.) last week, when he struck tba bottom with his head, his neck bain; broken. Death was instantaneous. A man who had left the OKro Home of his own accord, rather than conform to ; the discipline of (lie intermediate ward, was described as follows by the master o| tbe home :—" General character —Incorrigibly drunkon and troublesome, Yery abuaiv-9 in his cups."-
