The "uillotin-e used during the Reign of Terror at Fears, in the Loire department, is to be offered for sale in Paris. It £ about lift high, and formed part of the late M. Forgeron's collection. The dividends paid by the West Australian gold mining companies last year totalled £1,284,115, or £203,200 less than in 1908. The total dividends paid to the end of last year were £20,448,010.
