OTAGO EARLY SETTLERS' ASSOCIATION.
THE COMING FETE. The Early Settlers’ Association has projected a motor gymkhana and floral fete similar to that which was such a pronounced success last year. It will be held at Tahuna Park on February 12. A meeting of the combined committee was held last night, there being present—Messrs J. M‘lndue (in the chair), R. Acton Adams, A. Wimoenv, G. O. Proudfoot, T. Fraser, J. Wood, the- Ladies’ Comrnittce bring represented by M&sdatnes (J. vv. Hayward, Broad foot, Barnes, Capstiok, Miller, and Miss Cargill. Apologies were received from Dr Fulton, Messrs IT. V, Fulton, W. Downio- Stewart, E. E. Stark. The following’ weiie elected a. Committee of Management;—-Dr Fulton (chairman), G. C. Proudfoot (lion, treasurer), T\ Fraser, and J. M ood (hon. secretary); members of committee—A. Wimpony, F. A. Cooke, E* E. Stark, H. Y. Fultou, J l . MTndoe, W, Low me Stewart, IV. H. Ferons, and J, Macdonald. The sub-committee hawing charge' oi the motor events reported that they were preparing a very attractive programme, with omto a number of novelties on improved; | lines. The Ladies’ Committee- reported that all ! <n')’angemonts were well forward. The afierj noon tea and refreshment temt will be in I change of Mss 0. W. Hayward with lady* I assistants.
