_ I CONFERENCE AT TDIARU. TIM ARIL January 13. j The annual conference of the Primitive Methodist Church was opened here this afternoon. Delegates were present from all parts of the Dominion. The Rev. S. Henderson (of Christchurch) was elected president for the ensuing year ; Mr R. B. Horsley (Wanganui), vice-president ; and the Rev. J. Southern (.West Coast Mission) was re-elected secretary. The afternoon | session was devoted to routine work, ap- ! pointing officers, committees, etc. In the evening the Stationing Committee met. ; The first draft of stations will be read to the conference to-morrow. -The conference eermon was delivered by the Rev. B. Dudley (General Committee delegate). The conference has a big programme it> and ■ will not conclude its labours uni*; January
