The death of Bishop Ehvin, of Sierra Leone, at the early age of 38, is the exaction of one more toll from European settlers by the deadly climate of the West African coast. He was educated at Dover College, Merton, and Wycliffe Hall, and held an Oxford curacy at St. Pcter-le-Bailey, being afterwards sent out to Sierra Leone by the Church Missionary Society.
