FORGERY AND UTTERING.
HASTINGS, January 15. Arthur Mannering pleaded guilty and was committed for sentence on a charge of forging and uttering a cheque for £ls. Accused was also remanded to Wellington to appear next Tuesday to answer a similar charge. A further charge of forging the name of A. 11, Holland, at Christchurch, is pending against Manning.
