Wager asks; —“Will the fact of a pure-bred dog serving a mongrel slut deteriorate his progeny with a pure-bred slut afterwards? Tho question is generally the other way about—he., ‘Will the progeny of a purebred slut be affected by her previous connections or mesalliances?’ ” The answer of the scientific investigators is: “No.” It has been impossible to find any evidence of so-called telegony or influence of a previous sire or dam.
