FULLER'S PICTURES.
A new programme seldom fails .to fill the Princess Theatre, and on the 6th, when the weekly change was made, one of the largest attendances yet seen at Fullers' Pictures was present. The rapid improvements in cinematography of recent times has been most marked," a fact that can hardly escape the observation of those who have patronised the Princess Theatre since it has been devoted to pictorial dis« plays by Messrs, Fulkir and Sons. Comedy, and tragedy in brief form has become' a leading feature of the entertainment piroviided, and last evening a (considerable portion of the time was occupied in the reproduction o events .real and imaginary. Some of tho outstanding paasag-es in the Ufa of Julius Caesar were exceedingly well depicted in 'a very leingthy film, culminating; in his violent death, and the subsequent fate of his. false friend Brutus. "In OkJ Kentucky," a story of the civil war ia America, in. which brother is opposed to brother, was also admirable. Sc>me shocking tragedy when the brothers meet in! open warfare seemed likely to eventuate.' but the spectators were spared that, and! were instead treated to a perfectly bappyi termination to the -feud. "The Dunlop Road Race','., would not probably be sufficiently interesting to most of those present to justify the long time it took to show it. Picture after picture of mere 1 bicycle-riding along the'road, without anyi great difference in the pictures, is apt to, become a little monotonous to many. The pictures themselves were,' however, verv good. "The 12 O'clock Express," in which' the villainy of a man and the heroism oS a young girl are the leading features, was full of exciting incidents, and thoroughly! interested the spectators. One of the bes-'a pictures shown was a representation) o 3 some wonderful cavalry feats, and a seti of scenes "about Biarritz were exceedingly; pretty, and called forth the admiration oi those', present., There were. several, humorous pictures'," among the best being " Thj Suffragettes Dream" and " Black Hands and Feet."
