Kerosene was imported into New Zealand last year in very large quantities. The shipments totalled' over five and ahalf million gallons, which was rather more than a million gallons in e&cess of those during the previous 12 months. Mr Robert Carriek, of Christchurch, formerly travelling representative for Little's sheep dip, has been appointed New Zealand manage for Quibell'e sheep dip, in succession to Mr D. B, Carriek, at present manager of the wool and stock department of Messrs" D.algcty and Co.'s- Wellington business.;
