CHARGE OF MURDER
HOBART, January 10
Two brothers named Langmaid were arrested at Forest on a charge of murdering a man named Butt, who disappeared on December 21 and was subsequently found in the bush ishot through the heart.
The evidence at the inquest showed that bad feeling existed between the deceased and one of the La.ngmaids owing to the latter's friendship for Butt's wife.
Butts's dead body was found in the scrub near his home on the 3rd inst. by his father-in-law. Mr Samuel Williams. The head had fallen from the body, which was in an advanced state of decomposition. The deceased leaves a young widow and three children.
