THE AGREEMENT AMENDED. -. WAIMATE, September 29. Mr.J. R- Triggs, Conciliation Coromisfiionsr, and assessars this afternoon reconsidered the stook threshing clause of the millownevs and workers' award. It will :

To-day that agreement was set aside, and stook threshing allowed, but at a higher rate-r-namely, for oats 13s per 100 bushels, instea* of lOs'J and for wheat 16S" per 100 bushels instead of 12s. The farmers' representatives were in r 'conierence with the commissioner and assessors, and agreed to the increase for st6ok threshing. . . TIMARTJ, September 30. The conciliation agreement arrived at yesterday between the workmen and the mill-owners does not include the millowners' intended increases "of one-e:ghth of a penny per bushel on oats and one farthing on wheat. The full stookthreshing charges be 3d for oats and 3|d for wheat.
