DUNEDIN JOCKEY CLUB.
The monthly meeting of the D.J.C. Committee was held' on Thursday. Present — Messrs Myers (in the chair), Orbell, Philp, Hazlett, Miller, and Charters. Apologies were received from the Hon. Geo. M'Lean and Messrs J. Hazlett, W. J. Coughlan, and J. Gow. The Secretary of the Pine Bush Hack Club wrote, on behalf of five of the members, asking the D.J.C. to reconsider its decieion not to remove the disqualifications for taking part at an unregistered meeting ofc Fortrose last year.— lt was resolved to adhere to the former decision. Leave of absence was granted to Mr R. Ewing for two months. It was resolved that a deputation consisting oi the. president and Messrs Myers and Goir ,be appointed to wait on the Forbury Park Trotfcimg Club and ask it to reconsider its decision to open its new course on the People's Day of the Otago A and P. show.
