Zetland dwelt at the post and lost several lengths, and Passion was also slow away. Claymore led to the straight, but gave way to Luperin. The track was heavy after the rain which had fallen overnight, and the attendance was fairly good. During the day £2214 was put through the totalisator, and made £4394 for the meeting, as against last year's total of £5069. The bookmakers' fc-es amounted to £74 10s.
