CALCUTTA, January 6. The riots at Titaghur, a suburb of Calcutta, and tlie scene of Sunday's disturbances, have been renewed. The Hindus destroyed a mosque and killed a Mohammedan. A number of infuriated Mohammedan null hands have -crowded thither and threaten vengeance. The military are still on qua.id at Titaghur, because the Hindus are infiniated with the Mohammedans for further desecrating the mosques by placing a dead pig insido. The Earl of Minto is communicating with Viscount Moiley in legard to the position of Mohammedans under the Government" s scheme for j^lacang the Legislative Count ih on an electoral basK January 7. Earl Minlo has proclaimed that three seditious organisations exist at Da< ca, Banisal, and Faridpur. Januaiy 8. Owing to the action of the leading Mohammedans the liot* in India are =üb^ tiding The cify coroner said, in the course of an inquest at Southwark recently, that ho had heard of many instance* in which tho parents had ghen'thoir little babies bacon, bread, and even sausages.
