RAILWAY WASH-OUT. WESTPORT, January 15.
A wash-out occurred on the railway liru near Birchfield at 2 o'clock this morning Fifteen loaded coal trucks were derailed the rails twisted, and the sleeper smashed. Over a chain of line is dam aged. Repairs are proceeding.
