The Colonial Consignment and Distributing Company is in receipt of advice that the demand for all classes of frozen meat is very weak. The value of lamb has declined id. Present quotations : — Canterbury mutton, 3Jd; Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 3£d. Lamb: First quality, sd ; second, 4jd. Beef : Hinds, 3|d ; fores, 3d.
