A marriage ceremony was performed in the Maryborough Gaol (Vietorid) recently, t the bridegroom- being a man who had been I sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment for the larceny of two bicycles. Applications for pensions have been made by a father and daughter in the liltle village of East Garston, Berks. The father (Isaac Earley) reached his one hundred -md first birthday last April. His daughter (Mrs Withers) is a widow over seventy years of age.
