CHESS ITEMS.
Mr F K. Kelling, chess champion of Aew Zealand, has donated the sum of three guineas as a prize to be, competed for by junior members of the Otago Chess Club. A summer handicap tournament has been started at the Otago Chess Club Already 10 players, in the persons of Messrs S. S. Mvers, G. F. Mirams, A. Stevenson, G Ho'niea H. Armstrong, D. Forsyth, A E.
